Better Together: Free Sunday Sessions at The StablES

Golden rays spill across the lawn, beats roll like waves on a summer tide. Laughter rises, time slows, strangers turn into friends. As dusk falls, the Secret Garden awakens a boutique club at sunset, intimate, electric, alive.

This is Better Together a free monthly Sunday series celebrating music, community, and connection at The Stables Matakana. At the heart of it all are local legends DJs Keegan Kenny and Mark Harman, in residence each month and joined by a special guest for every Edition. From funk and soul to dub, hip hop, rare groove and summer anthems, every event brings a new sound, a new story, and that unmistakable Matakana energy.

It’s family-friendly, open to everyone, and designed for Sundays spent well, kids on the lawn, adults relaxing with great food and drinks, and a dancefloor that comes alive as the sun dips.
