The complete venue has two choices of restaurants, a private AV function room and access to a range of country activities on location.

We have now completed our new space, The Saddlery. Our new private function room can be set up to suit various events. It can seat 40 guests for conferences or a private dinner or as an entertainment room complete with its own HD projector and bluetooth sound system.

Watch the rugby, hold a movie night for the kids or run a corporate conference with dinner. The Saddlery can be transformed as required.

It is just 50 mins from the CBD and easily reached by coach or car.  

Matakana is becoming the "go to” country day trip for many Aucklanders because of its beautiful scenery, vineyards and beaches. The Stables venue is located within the Matakana Country Park which is 2 mins from Matakana village and 6 mins from Omaha beach.

Our private function room began life as a saddle making shop. The feel of the room replicates its past with large bay windows, macrocarpa fittings & equestrian decor.

The space can be custom set up for any conference or private event. Seating up to 40 people, the saddlery is equipped with a professional AV system and digital projector. Full hospitality and catering is provided.

The Stables Restaurant is perfect for large groups & events. Family fun days are incredibly popular at The Stables with space for various entertainment as well as train rides, a petting zoo, pony & carriage rides & adventure playgrounds on site.

A perfect blank canvas for any music event, concert or entertainment show. The main room has easy access to The Stables bar & all amenities.

Marquees can be used to extend the venue space & create an audience area or dance floor for music. The stables venue is also the perfect exclusive v.i.p area for a large scale event on the country park site.
